Christmas Opening Hours December 9, 2025 – Posted in: Dates to Remember, News – Tags: it support, ITServices, ITSupport
Merry Christmas, Season’s Greetings, Happy Holidays and an excellent New Year to all.
We’re open on Christmas Eve and on the 29th, 30th and 31st of December, when we will be running a skeleton service. We’ll do everything we can to make sure there’s no interruption to your services during these times, and that any emergencies are dealt with accordingly.
We would kindly ask that during that time only major, system-wide or critical issues are logged with us. If possible please log issues by emailing with as much detail as possible about the problem. If you can’t email us, please report the issue on the usual 01245 265100 number and the voicemail system will email us your message. To avoid disappointment or confusion please inform all of your colleagues of these alterations to our usual services.
Please note that whilst we will ensure the helpdesk is covered, not all staff will be working on all three days so emails directly to a specific person may not be picked up. Our support@ email delivers to all staff ensuring your request will be dealt with.

Holiday Tips
Firstly – let your IT company know when you are open over the festive period, please drop us an email on and let us know your opening times so we can let our staff know when you might need help.
Can you turn IT equipment off to save electricity? You can turn off your lights and screens whilst you are away, you can turn off your PC as long as you aren’t planning to remote in over the holidays. Please don’t turn off any servers, routers or networking equipment.
Can you turn off the heating to save electricity? As long are there is enough heat left that the pipes aren’t at risk of freezing your IT equipment will be fine. Even if it is cold enough to freeze the pipes your devices will cope with the cold – they might not survive the water leaks when the pipes defrost though.
Can I get support? We will ensure that we have staff available to help should anything go wrong, but we can’t guarantee that 3rd party software providers will do the same. We will do everything we can to keep things running smoothly though.
