Shadbolt International – Commercial high performance doors and doorsets (Essex)
Ontraq are the third line support for Shadbolts in house IT team. We generally look after the server infrastructure and network. Covering staff holidays and engaging in major IT projects.
Shadbolt approached Ontraq to be involved in a new software project that is to replace the existing estimating and build configurator with a new state of the art
custom designed ERP package that will streamline the manufacture of their core products. Virtually all Shadbolt products are bespoke and therefore each order is
custom made.
Ontraq have been involved in the programming and design of the user interface, custom configurator and the backend server systems to support the new system.
This has been a massive undertaking involving hundreds of man hours to replace the existing 30 year old DEC basic terminal sessions that has been in use.
This project has a go live of 2nd quarter 2018 and Ontraq will continue to be involved guiding the project to completion.
